Anygraaf to Integrate Lingsoft Language Tools into Doris32 System

By: E&P Staff Language company Lingsoft, Vantaa, Finland, and publishing software supplier Anygraaf, Helsinki, Finland, and Frederick, Md., agreed to integrate Lingsoft language software into Anygraaf's Doris32 asset-management and publishing-production system.

The collaboration will include Lingsoft's hyphenator, spellchecker, grammar checker, classification and search programs, and thesauruses.

The partnership aims to make newspaper editing more efficient by integrating linguistic tools into the Doris editorial system, eliminating the need for separate user interfaces. The tools, based on sentence- and word-analysis technologies, also will be integrated with Anygraaf's text editor and its future Web interface designs used for remote submission and editing.
