By: Staff Reports Circulation Changes Will Affect Rates
The Associated Press yesterday approved a 2.9% general assessment increase for its members, effective next Jan. 7.
The increase applies to basic and supplemental services to all AP newspaper and broadcast members.
Changes in circulation, on which the news cooperative's rates are based, will also affect the weekly assessment for some newspapers. The AP serves about 15,000 organizations worldwide.
