By: In stories Dec. 2 and March 25 about employee layoffs at The Miami Herald, The Associated Press reported erroneously that the newspaper stopped distributing its international edition.
The Herald announced March 11 that it was ceasing publication of its international edition as a cost-saving measure. However, the newspaper continued publishing it seven days a week until June, when two managers and an editor formed an independent company to continue its publication.
The international edition continues to be published six days a week in six Caribbean and Latin American countries.
