AP Redesigns Markets Site -- Enhances Money & Markets

Posted
By: E&P Staff The Associated Press has made its Money & Markets financial-data product easier to use at the redesigned AP Markets Web site (http://markets.ap.org), now enhanced with better navigation and design.

Customizable for print and online use, Money & Markets provides daily insight to financial markets with a mix of text, graphics and data modules.

Users credit the site's appearance, navigation, improved functionality and "better access to product information," according to AP Business and Financial Products Director Josh Orenstein.

Subscribers, for example, can more easily login and download files. The new Featured Members page links to existing member implementations of Money & Markets online, giving subscribers a look at the site in action. Ticker/Stub Lookup is now more visible on the page so that members can easily figure out abbreviations or stub names in their print listings.

"The updated Web site emphasizes the current Money & Markets product offerings while still providing information about Grand Central Stocks (GCS), StocksExpress, and our Quarterly/Annual products," AP Manager of Markets Operations Russell Pollack said in a statement. The Print, Online, and Extra Modules are prominent on the home page, with robust drill-down information available. Print Product drill-down information includes a pop-up window with one-click access to samples of each module. Online drill-down information offers "live" samples of the modules.

Detailed Help and Download pages provide one-stop access to all member needs, and downloads, fonts, GCS data elements, fund classifications and more are easily located.
