By: E&P Staff Apago Inc. has released PDF Enhancer 3.5. The automated production tool for creating, standardizing and optimizing PDF documents was updated with faster processing, improved reliability, advanced scanned document clean-up, AES security, and better font and color handling.
E-edition publishers can use PDF Enhancer daily to convert newspaper pages. PDF Enhancer 3.5 is available in Professional and Advanced Server Edition versions. Standard and Server editions have been discontinued.
PDF Enhancer 3.5 is available from resellers or Apago's online store for $349 (Professional) and $1,999 (Advanced Server) or as a free upgrade to customers with an active support contract. PDF Enhancer 3.x Standard Edition users can upgrade to Professional for $99, and 3.x Professional users can upgrade for $49. PDF Enhancer 3.x Server and Advanced Server users without active support contracts can upgrade with a $400 support contract.
