By: Joe Strupp An Associated Press Managing Editors online survey of editors, which asks their views on the impact of layoffs, buyouts and other attrition on newsrooms, is set to end on Monday, according to a reminder notice sent today.
Editors who want to participate in the poll can do so by linking to the survey Web site
here.
"If you haven't, we'd appreciate if you could take a few minutes right now to share your thoughts and concerns, as well as your suggestions for maintaining diversity in staffing and coverage," the notice states. "You have the option of identifying yourself in the survey or choosing anonymity. We'll share the results in an AP story and in more detail during the APME annual training conference Oct. 28-30 in St. Louis."
