Appointments at TV Magazine With a Newspaper Presence

By: E&P Staff TV Guide, which offers television listings and other content that's also syndicated to newspapers, has announced two promotions.

Debra Birnbaum was appointed editor-in-chief, and Craig Tomashoff executive editor.

Birnbaum has served as executive editor of TV Guide's "cross-platform content integration" for the past 18 months, and has also been editor-in-chief of Life & Style magazine and executive editor of Inside TV magazine.

Tomashoff most recently served as TV Guide's West Coast bureau chief. He has also written for VH1, People magazine, the Boston Herald, and The Seattle Times.
