By: Dave Astor ExtremeInk, which syndicates stand-up comedian Argus Hamilton's daily column of topical humor, launched a blog yesterday.
It's a place "where joke-starved TV viewers can read the column if their local paper doesn't run it," said ExtremeInk President/Editor Susan Shelley, referring to the Hollywood writers' strike.
Shelley, who's a writer herself, told E&P that more than 100 newspapers publish Hamilton's column -- mostly on editorial pages but in feature sections, too.
"I send editors 13 jokes a day, six days a week," added Hamilton. "Some papers run the full column and others run excerpts that editors can choose themselves." The column can be used daily, weekly, or on any other schedule.
The new blog can be seen
