'Argyle' Comic: a Quick Run to 200 Clients in a Tough Market

By: E&P Staff "The Argyle Sweater" comic panel by Scott Hilburn has hit the 200-client mark after only six months of syndication with Universal Press.

Also, a line of greeting cards featuring Hilburn's offbeat cartoons has been designed by Universal sister company Andrews McMeel Publishing. The cards are being produced and distributed by Recycled Paper Greetings.

Universal said "Argyle Sweater" clients include the New York Daily News, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the Detroit Free Press, The Dallas Morning News, the Seattle Times, The Oregonian of Portland, and various Web sites.
