By: E&P Staff Former Chicago Sun-Times Publisher F. David Radler's arraignment on charges he illegally schemed to divert $32 million in Hollinger International funds to personal businesses has been rescheduled from Thursday to Sept. 20.
Radler, who is cooperating with the continuing investigation into Hollinger's financial affairs, is expected to plead guilty when he is arraigned.
Radler is widely expected to testify at some point against Conrad Black, the former Hollinger chairman and CEO who has not yet been charged with any criminal offenses. Black, Radler, and other key former executives are accused of "looting" Hollinger of $400 million in a lawsuit filed earlier this year by the company.
