Through my job, I was fortunate to meet and speak with many of the dedicated people who are the heart of journalism. I appreciate all the hard work by talented illustrators and photographers who helped me make each issue of E&P as visually inviting and thought-provoking as possible. You have become part of the E&P family.
I am particularly proud to be have been part of our annual photo contest, which marked its 10th year in 2009. E&P?s annual, monthly and weekly photo contests have celebrated the remarkable work of newspaper photographers across the country and the world. Their enthusiasm and dedication often moved me to tears after long days of work. I will continue to look for your work, in photographs, videos, or whatever the medium.
My thanks to everyone whom I got to work with. It was the experience of a lifetime.
