'Atlanta Journal-Constitution' Names Hyde Post VP, Internet

By: E&P Staff The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has promoted Hyde Post to vice president, Internet, a newly created position. He will oversee editorial, product development and operations for the AJC?s Internet group, including its classified verticals.

Post was previously editorial director of ajc.com (where he was one of the original developers of the Web site) and accessatlanta.com. He has held a variety of positions since joining the newspaper in 1978, including reporter, special projects editor and assistant managing editor. Projects that Post has edited or directed have won several honors, including the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Reporting and the Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting.
