By: E&P Staff Robert W. Eickhoff has been named vice president of circulation for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. His new position is effective March 1, 2005.
Eickhoff, 52, joins the AJC from the Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel, where he has served as vice president of circulation and operations since 1998. Eickhoff joined the Sentinel as vice president of circulation in 1993.
Before that, Eickhoff held an array of circulation and marketing positions at the Chicago Tribune, including metro circulation director, suburban circulation manager, and national sales manager.
Eickhoff is past chair of the advisory board of the Salvation Army of Orlando, past president of the Southern Circulation Managers Association and past president of the board of directors for the Newspaper Association of America's Circulation Federation.
