Baldwin Names Global Operations, Sales VPs

By: E&P Staff Baldwin Technology Co. has appointed two mechanical engineers, Steffen Weisser and Peter Hultberg, as vice presidents, effective July 1.

Weisser will be responsible for global operations and will be based in Friedberg, Germany. Hultberg will lead global marketing, sales and service from Baldwin's plant in Arlov, Sweden. Both will report to Baldwin CEO Karl Puehringer.

Weisser has led Baldwin's German operations since September 2007. Before joining Baldwin, he ran a German maker of machines for the technical textiles and packaging industry and held management positions with other machine manufacturers.

Hultberg, whose father co-founded Baldwin Jimek AB, is managing director of that operation and has been part of the management team there since 1988. Baldwin acquired Jimek AB in 1995.
