By: E&P Staff The Baltimore Sun has relaunched its Web site to be more user friendly. The site also boasts an improved video player.
"The site redesign is all about a better user experience with the news, information and features they want, when they want it," J. Montgomery "Monty" Cook, editor and senior vice president of the Sun, said in a statement. "It will be easier to provide comment on every story, easier to engage with other users and easier to scan for the latest information."
"The new site also allow the Baltimore Sun to leverage our ability to pull together content of all kinds from various sources in the Baltimore area," he added.
The
site is highlighting the Baltimore Sun logo at the top of each page rather than baltimoresun.com and it has trimmed the number of "elements" that appear on each page to make it easier to get around.
Readers are able to share stories on platforms like Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit, and Mixx.
