Baseball Team Hosting Tribute to Late Cartoonist Johnny Hart

By: E&P Staff There will be a tribute to late cartoonist Johnny Hart at tomorrow evening's Binghamton (N.Y.) Mets minor-league baseball game.

Hart, a New York state resident who died in April 2007 at age 76, created the "B.C." and "Wizard of Id" strips. He collaborated on the latter comic with Brant Parker, who died eight days after Hart last year at age 86.

Both Creators Syndicate strips are being continued by family members.
