Beaumont Enterprise Names New Publisher

Hearst Corporation announced today that Mark Adkins has been named publisher of the Beaumont Enterprise. The announcement was made by Frank A. Bennack, Jr., CEO of Hearst Corporation, and Hearst Newspapers President Mark Aldam. Adkins begins his new role immediately, succeeding Bill Offill, who is leaving the company.

Most recently, Adkins served as president of the San Francisco Chronicle since September 2008, overseeing both print and online revenue initiatives and business development for the newspaper's suite of products.
