Belo Promotes Three Executives

By: E&P Staff Belo promoted three executives. Guy Kerr was named executive vice president/law and government and secretary. Carey Hendrickson was appointed senior vice president/chief accounting officer. W. Craig Harper was named vice president/technology.

Kerr was previously the company's senior vice president/law and government and secretary. He joined Belo in 2000 from the Dallas law firm Locke Liddell & Sapp. Kerr also serves on the company's management committee and on board of the Belo Foundation.

Hendrickson was most recently vice president of human resources. He began his career with Belo in 1992. Prior to his time at Belo, Hendrickson was with KPMG and was the director of financial planning for Republic Financial Services.

Prior to his promotion, Harper was Belo's executive director/technology. He joined Belo in 1990.
