Belo to Use AdPay's Click-N-Buy

By: E&P Staff Belo Corporation will use AdPay's Click-N-Buy service to run classifieds and other online retail operations for its newspaper properties, the company announced today.

The first Belo paper to implement Click-N-Buy will be the flagship Dallas Morning News.

Click-N-Buy is a newspaper-branded, Internet-hosted application that integrates with newspaper classified-ad entry and posting systems. It gives classified advertisers the ability to enhance their online classifieds with extended text, photos, and multimedia. Click-N-Buy also provides advertisers the option of selling merchandise for a fixed price, a negotiated price, or by an auction. Buyers can also make payments online.

"We evaluated all of the solutions on the market, and AdPay is the only vendor with the full scope of proven capabilities to deliver a complete solution," Tom Caywood, vice president of classified advertising at The Dallas Morning News, said in a statement.
