BERGEN NEWSPAPER GROUP NAMES ACTING EDITOR

The Bergen Newspaper Group, based in Palisades Park, N.J., has
named Douglas E. Hall to acting editor of the newspaper group's
three weeklies.

Effective immediately, Hall will oversee the editorial direction of
The Bergen News, The Press Journal, and The Sun
Bulletin. Hall has been a reporter at the newspaper group for
the past three years.

Hall founded and wrote the Hall Radio Report, a radio
management newsletter, and later sold it to Billboard
magazine. He then worked at Billboard as a radio/television
editor. In 1982, he left Billboard to do radio programming
full-time, according to the Bergen Newspaper Group.
