Berkeley Breathed to Speak at Charles M. Schulz Museum

Posted
By: E&P Staff "Opus" cartoonist Berkeley Breathed will discuss his work and sign his new children's book Oct. 18 at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, Calif.

Breathed's latest children's book is titled "Pete & Pickles."

The Washington Post Writers Group cartoonist is best known for his "Bloom County" comic, which ran from 1980 to 1989 and won a Pulitzer Prize in 1987.

The Schulz Museum, of course, is named after the late creator of "Peanuts," whose strip continues to be syndicated in reruns by United Media.
