By: E&P Staff Landmark Communications' wholly owned Dominion Enterprises, a marketing services company serving the automotive, real estate, apartment, recruitment and marine markets, has selected Miles 33 advertising and accounts receivable software for its TraderMedia division.
Miles 33, headquartered in Bracknell, bershire, England,a nd with offices in Norwalk, Conn., will deploy a 340-seat system, with integrated pagination and production tracking, for TraderMedia's national print publications and TraderOnline Web sites.
"Our decision to go with Miles 33 was based on the flexibility of the Miles 33 booking engine to support our unique photo-ad styles, coupled with fully integrated pagination and production tracking workflow," Dominion Enterprises Business Systems Director Scott Owens said in a statement.
Using the browser, customers may remotely create ads, proof ads created by TraderMedia's production department, and view and pay invoices. The new booking system will be integrated with other TraderMedia and TraderOnline titles, resulting in a new commercial e-commerce platform for the division.
The Miles 33 system will be installed in Dominion Enterprises' Norfolk, Va., data center, with satellite facilities around the country for ad creation and page makeup. The central database will allow TraderMedia to view the entire business from a sales and cross-selling perspective, and will allow the company to roll up all financials into one view.
"This is a major step in our growth in the U.S. market, Miles 33 CEO Michael Moore said in announcing the sale. He called it the largest among several U.S. orders in the past year.
