By: E&P Staff One of Brazil's financial newspapers will publish content from The Wall Street Journal starting Aug. 13.
Valor Econ?mico, which has a circulation of 60,000, will run some of the Journal's content in print and online under the banner the Wall Street Journal Special Edition. The Journal will select, translate, and paginate the stories the Brazilian paper.
"The relationship with Valor Econ?mico's print and Web editions will extend [the] Journal's reach into Brazil's most influential business community through Journal-branded pages of news, analysis, and advertising," Bill Casey, vice president of international for the Journal, said in a statement.
The Journal publishes special editions in 44 newspapers in 13 different languages. Valor Econ?mico, launched in May 2000, is a joint venture published by O Globo and Folha de S. Paulo.
