By: E&P Staff Miles 33, in Norwalk, Conn., and Bracknell, England, will supply an advertising system for O Pioneiro in Caxias do Sul, Brazil.
The largest daily in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, O Pioneiro is part of the Rede Brasil Sul group (RBS), which is standardizing all its properties on Miles 33 ad solutions -- already implemented at the group's Zero Hora, Diario Gaucho, Diario De Santa Maria and A Noticia.
At o Pioneiro, Miles 33 staffers based in Belo Horizonte will install ad sales, Live Pagination for classified pagination, a series of remote clients and integration into a variety of RBS subsystems, such as Internet portals and financial systems.
Miles 33 also was chosen by Sweden's 3L System Group, supplier of business systems to the yellow pages industry, for pagination and ad-management technology.
With 3L's recent entry into the U.S. market with its Core contracts and billing system), it required a pagination system able to cut lead times for pages, increase revenue by expanding customers' sales window, and cut cost with an integrated pagination solution.
Miles 33 integrated its solutions into the new 3L Core environment, and 3L is now installing Miles 33 at a U.S. site. Part of the deal is Miles 33's first U.S. yellow pages order for the Ad management system, according to Miles 33 Sales and Marketing Vice President Don Sullivan.
