Broas Named Senior VP/Advertising for 'Milwaukee Journal Sentinel'

By: E&P Staff Steven T. Broas has been named senior vice president/advertising for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The position had been open since previous VP Richard Dobson left in October of 2005.

Previously, Broas was publisher of The News-Sentinel in Fort Wayne, Ind., while also serving as the president and CEO of Fort Wayne Newspapers Inc. which oversees the business operations of the city?s two dailies, the News-Sentinel and The Journal Gazette.

His advertising experience comes from his work for Knight Ridder Inc., as director for retail advertising market development and as senior advertising executive for The Kansas (Mo.) City Star.
