Bryan Osborn Named General Manager, Vice President of Advertising at The Island Packet and Beaufort Gazette

Bryan Osborn has been named general manager and vice president of advertising for The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette in Hilton Head Island, S.C. Osborn previously served as vice president of digital for The State in Columbia. S.C., The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette.

Osborn has spent 24 years in the news industry in a variety of leadership roles. He joined McClatchy in 2000 as retail sales manager for The Island Packet. He was promoted to vice president of advertising at The Beaufort Gazette in 2003. He left the company between 2006 and 2010 and was a publisher for The Metro Spirit in Augusta, Ga. In 2010, he returned to The Island Packet as vice president of digital.

In 2014, he was promoted to regional vice president of digital for the Columbia, Hilton Head Island and Beaufort newspapers.
