BuzzFeed CEO Jonah Peretti told staffers Wednesday that he supported editor in chief Ben Smith’s decision to publish an unverified 35-page dossier alleging that Russian intelligence officials have damaging personal information about president-elect Donald Trump, the publication of which drew scorn from some journalists and from the incoming administration.
