Buzzfeed could raise an additional $100 million as part of its current funding round, according to documents that the company filed with the SEC today.
Buzzfeed's Form D, which privately-held companies file when they sell securities to investors, states that Buzzfeed is offering $300 million in equity — $200 million of which has already been sold and $100 million of which is "remaining to be sold."
