Cagle Cartoons Adds Several Features

By: E&P Staff Cagle Cartoons is syndicating Bob Englehart, the longtime editorial cartoonist for The Hartford (Conn.) Courant.

CC (www.caglecartoons.com) is also offering cartoons by various creators outside the United States. The cartoons are available to all 800 of the syndicate's subscribers to use.

In the column area, CC has begun distributing the weekly "Newsmaker Interviews" by Bill Steigerwald of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. He has also worked for the Los Angeles Times and CBS.

And Daryl Cagle, who runs CC as well as the "Professional Cartoonists Index" Web site, told E&P Online there are two book collections on the way. The first, scheduled for October release, is "The Big Book of Bush: The History of the Bush Administration in Cartoons." And the annual "Best Political Cartoons of the Year" collection is scheduled to be in bookstores before Christmas.
