By: E&P Staff Msnbc.com and political cartoonist Daryl Cagle, founder of the Cagle Cartoons political cartoons syndicate, have teamed up to offer "msnbc.com Cartoons HD," the first free application for the iPad that delivers political cartoons from across the globe to the electronic tablet.
The ?msnbc.com Cartoons HD? app enables users to see a cartoon news feed updated in real time from 900 newspapers across the country, updated as soon as the cartoonist finishes them. Users can browse the cartoons with pinch zoom and tilt-rotation features, and share cartoons from their Twitter or Facebook pages without ever having to leave the app. Users also can e-mail cartoons, or save favorite cartoons to the iPad?s camera roll library, sync it with iTunes or even use a cartoon for the iPad?s wallpaper.

Cagle Cartoons political cartoons syndicate, which offers 25 iPhone apps and distributes the cartoons of about 50 editorial cartoonists and columnists to over 800 newspapers, just celebrated its 10th anniversary.
