California's Contra Costa Newspapers Selects MultiAd Revolution

By: E&P Staff Contra Costa Newspapers in Walnut Creek, Calif., has chosen MultiAd Revolution, a Web browser-based software that enables classified display ad clients to build their own ads online, helping control costs, streamline operations, reduce adjustments and allow staff more time on new initiatives.

The Contra Costa staff credits several aspects as key to a successful roll-out. While Revolution uses advanced technology, it maintains an intuitive interface.

MultiAd supplied customer service and on-site training for the production and sales staff and for Contra Costa's clients. "The in-depth training period enabled us to get the sales reps' buy-in and then the clients' buy-in," Real Estate Advertising Manager Barbara Banis said in a statement.

More than 3,000 companies worldwide use MultiAd Revolution from Multi-Ad, Peoria, Ill. The application offers document creation and management of the entire ad process, including print, advertising, procurement and production workflow.

Revolution began as an internal project to streamline operations for Australia's largest ad agency and brochure/signage printer in the real estate sector, then led to a partnership between Australian company Workstream Solutions and MultiAd when the former used MultiAd Creator Server as the foundation for Revolution's Driver component.
