Cannon Equipment Sales to 17 Newspapers

By: E&P Staff Cannon Equipment has sold post-press equipment to the following papers:

Comet label application conveyors were purchased by The Tribune, San Luis Obispo, Calif., the Star-News, Wilmington, N.C., The Dominion Post, Morgantown, W.Va., Phoenix Newspapers Inc. (eight units), Reno (Nevada) Gazette-Journal and The Hartford (Conn.) Courant (which also bought stream-alignment equipment for its Web-reduction project).

The Savannah (Ga.) Morning News and Press-Republican, Plattsburgh, N.Y., ordered roller-top conveyors.

Trinidad Publishing purchased Cannon's press belt stream, Comet stack and bundle-distribution system.

El Tiempo of Columbia has purchased a bundle-turning mattop equipment.

Mattop bundle distribution equipment also is going to The Times, Munster, Ind., and St. Joseph (Mo.) News Press.

The Frederick (Md.) News-Post purchased a bundle distribution system and press belt stream conveyor.

Dow Jones & Co.'s Federal Way, Wash., facility will install a powered truck-dock loader/triple boom.

The Journal & Courier, Lafayette, Ind., bought a traffic-control bundle-pacing system, and an MK-6 underwrap machine will go into The Courier, Dindlay, Ohio.
