Capital New York to Relaunch on Dec. 3

Capital New York, the online news publication recently acquired by Politico Publisher Robert Allbritton, will relaunch on Dec. 3, with a focus on the power trio of City Hall, Albany and the media industry, the publication announced today.

“New York has a hunger for better coverage,” Capital New York CEO Jim VandeHei, who was also recently named CEO of Politico, said in a statement. “We have hired some of the best journalists in the industry to disrupt the competition and deliver essential coverage to the most powerful people in the state.”
