Felix Salmon is an astute thinker, a brilliant writer, and the epitome of a successful modern journalist. (He’s also the witty and charming co-host of the podcast Slate Money.) So when he wrote a post titled, “To all the young journalists asking for advice… ,” the media world listened. And then it went sort of nuts. Because Salmon’s advice was, in short, “Don’t do it.”
