By: E&P Staff Job search Web sites CareerBuilder in the U.S. and Workopolis in Canada announced an agreement on Wednesday that will allow customers cross-border recruiting capabilities.
The two services will feature links to one another's Web sites. They also will sell job postings for each other to their respective clients in the U.S. and Canada, the companies announced.
CareerBuilder, with 16.2 million unique users each month, is co-owned by Gannett Co Inc., Tribune Co. and Knight Ridder. Workopolis is co-owned by three Canadian media companies: The Globe and Mail division of Bell Globemedia; Toronto Star Newspapers Ltd.; and Gesca Ltd., the newspaper publishing subsidiary of Power Corp. of Canada.
