CAREERPATH RELEASES NEW MEASUREMENT NUMBERS

CareerPath.com of Los Angeles reports a record 1.9 million unique visitors for the month of September. The number for the first time includes visitors to the 90 online newspaper job sites that are part of the CareerPath network.

If the newspaper Web sites aren't included, CareerPath only had 1 million unique visitors.

The numbers were provided in a custom report from Media Metrix, the New York-based audience measurement firm. CareerPath is touting the number because it clearly establishes the company as the No. 2 employment site on the Web, behind Monster.com, which typically has over 2 million unique visitors per month.
