CareerPath.com has partnered with MovingCenter, an online relocation service, to provide
job seekers with tools for considering job relocation.

The companies will build a co-branded site that combines career management resources and
relocation information.

MovingCenter provides calculators that compare purchasing values of incomes in different
cities, and information on the affordability of cities and mortgages. Pricing services
also calculate truck rentals, moving companies, insurance and financial services, doctors,
dentists, veterinarians, and furniture and appliance rental services.

Los Angeles-based CareerPath.com is an employment site owned by eight major newspaper
companies, and MovingCenter is owned by Chicago-based Classified Ventures Inc., also backed
by eight newspaper groups. Some of these companies, like Gannett Co. Inc. and Knight Ridder,
own stakes in both.
