By: E&P Staff As if doing a daily comic and being the mother of five aren't enough, "Clear Blue Water" creator Karen Montague-Reyes has evacuated her home because of Hurricane Wilma.
Her distributor, Universal Press Syndicate, said this is the third time this year that a hurricane has forced the cartoonist to temporarily leave the Florida Keys.
When Montague-Reyes and her family board up the windows of their house and pack their cars, she makes sure to take her hard drive, scanner, drawing implements, and backpacks full of "Clear Blue Water" ideas. During past hurricanes, she has often ended up working at her mother-in-law's.
