Cartoonists Engaged With Simultaneously Released Books

By: E&P Staff Two cartoonists who plan to marry each other this September have books coming out the same day -- June 4.

One artist is Mikhaela Reid, whose collection of political and social commentary is titled "Attack of the 50-Foot Mikhaela." The other is Masheka Wood, whose book is called "Deep Doodle."

Wood's work includes the "Not Just Knee Deep" comic. Reid has done cartoons for the Boston Phoenix, the Los Angeles Times, and various other publications.

Reid's collection features a foreword by Universal Press Syndicate editorial cartoonist/United Media executive Ted Rall.
