CCI Brings Adobe InDesign, InCopy CS3 to NewsGate

By: E&P Staff Denmark's CCI Europe announced that it soon will make its media-neutral CCI NewsGate content management platform available with print production capabilities based on Adobe InDesign CS3 and Adobe InCopy CS3 software.

The new module will be available in NewsGate 2.1, to be released Oct. 30, with preview demonstrations available at the Ifra Expo this week in Vienna.

CCI NewsGate 2.1 puts standard Adobe functionality into an efficient and consolidated database-driven solution, with tools for editorial planning, newsroom collaboration, and content creation and delivery for multiple media. InDesign and InCopy (included in CCI's journalism toolkit, along with Adobe Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3 and Acrobat) are tightly coupled with database-managed workflow and centralized page planning, advertising workflow, page overview and output, content version control, and dynamic updating.

CCI NewsGate 2.1 supports disaster recovery and high-availability solutions, and it can be implemented as a single newspaper solution or in a data center environment.
