By: Dave Astor "Deletions, Omissions and Erasures" is the theme of the Oct. 15-16 Festival of Cartoon Art at Ohio State University.
The event -- sponsored by OSU's Cartoon Research Library -- will discuss censorship, self-censorship, editorial control, and more.
Among the speakers will be editorial cartoonists Lalo Alcaraz of Universal Press Syndicate, Joel Pett of the Lexington (Ky.) Herald-Leader and Cartoonists & Writers Syndicate, Michael Ramirez of the Los Angeles Times and Copley News Service, Ann Telnaes of Tribune Media Services (TMS), and self-syndicated "This Modern World" creator Tom Tomorrow.
Telnaes is also part of the team that creates the "Six Chix" comic for King Features Syndicate, and Alcaraz also does the "La Cucaracha" comic for Universal.
