'Chicago Sun-Times' Launches Zoned Wellness Section

Posted
By: E&P Staff The Chicago Sun-Times on Wednesday launched a weekly wellness section zoned for advertising and featuring local columnists as well as two personalities made famous by Oprah Winfrey -- the sex therapist Dr. Laura Berman and Dr. Mehmet Oz of the TV talk show "Dr. Oz."

Sun-Times Publisher John Barron said the new section -- "Mind & Body" -- would be a "perfect complement" to the lifestyle and leisure section "Easy" that runs on Thursdays.

"Mind & Body will be geographically zoned so that advertisers can best target their desired customers," said Gladys Arroyo, Chicago Sun-Times vice president of local retail advertising, Metro Region. "This is another way in which the Chicago Sun-Times is committed to meeting the business needs of Chicago companies."

Among the contributors to the weekly section is Cornell McClellan, a Chicago personal trainer who commutes to Washington, D.C., weekly to work with President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
