Chicago Sun-Times Parent Selling Joliet Newspaper to Shaw Media

Chicago Sun-Times parent Wrapports LLC said that it plans to sell the Joliet Herald-News to suburban newspaper owner B.F. Shaw Printing Co.

“This sale will allow the Sun-Times to focus its resources on transforming its core products,” Wrapports CEO Tim Knight said in a news release. The Herald-News is the third-largest of Wrapports' suburban newspapers, behind the SouthtownStar and the Post-Tribune of Indiana.
