By: E&P Staff A veteran Chicago Tribune ad makeup supervisor was being held on $150,000 bail on a charge of possessing child pornography, the newspaper reported Thursday.
In a Cook County (Ill.) court hearing Wednesday, prosecutors said Richard A. Fuith, 58, had acknowledged that a video with child pornography was his, according to the article by reporter Kristen Kridel.
The video was found at Fuith's home by police armed with a search warrant, obtained after the video was accessed by authorities monitoring Internet file-sharing.
According to Fuith's attorney, the supervisor is a 40-year veteran of the newspaper.
"He has the love and support of his family," the attorney, Michael Petro, told the Tribune. "He's a hard-working individual. He's led an exemplary life."
