By: E&P Staff Bob Fleck, who was named the Chicago Tribune's vice president of advertising just four months ago, was promoted to senior vice president of advertising, the Tribune Co. flagship announced Monday.

Joe Farrell, the Joe Farrell, vice president of interactive sales, now reports to Fleck rather than Tribune Pubisher and CEO Tony Hunter, the paper said.

Tribune Managing Editor Jane Hirt also announced the promotion of Mike Kellams, who had been sports editor since 2006, to associate managing editor for sports.

Kellams succeeds Dan McGrath, who has been the Tribune's AME for sports since 2002 and was its sports editor for five years before that. McGrath will become a senior writer for the Tribune sports section.
