By: E&P Staff The Chicago Tribune announced today that its Web site, chicagotribune.com, has relaunched after extensive redesigns.
The online changes include a new platform that provides standardized ad positions and a more efficient process for advertising sales for all Tribune Interactive newspaper sites, prominent video placement, and greater interactive tools.
The interactive nature of the redesign now allows Web users to share multimedia such as photos and videos, along with opinions and stories. Users can also access tools that can adjust articles to a certain preference of font size, or make an article viewable on a single page. Content online will be continually refreshed throughout the day, and tabbed browsing has been added for easier access to multiple stories.
Accompanying the chicagotribune.com redesign launch is a consumer marketing campaign by Tribune partner agency DDB Chicago. The tag line for the campaign is, ?chicagotribune.com revolves around you.?
