By: E&P Staff The New York Times is touting the teen magazine UPFRONT that it produces in conjunction with Scholastic, noting that subscriptions are up 11% this year and 68% since its launch a decade ago. More than 900,000 students and teachers take UPFRONT.
The New York Times provides 75% of the content for the twice monthly
magazine.
"UPFRONT takes the best journalism of the world and tailors it for a very important audience -- teenagers," Elliott Rebhun, UPFRONT's editor and publisher, said in a statement.
