Classified Go-Live Completes Big Atex Project

Posted
By: E&P Staff The Netherlands' largest national newspaper, Amsterdam-based De Telegraaf, has gone live with Speurders, its large classified advertising section, using an Atex Enterprise system. It is the last phase of a project with Atex to modernize the paper's entire advertising sales and cross-media ad-management systems.

According to Atex b.v. Director Rijk Stierman, "This is rapidly becoming one of the largest Enterprise systems worldwide." Enhancement of Enterprise for De Telegraaf, he added, will include AdVenture, the Dutch version of Ifra's AdsML, and Space Manager, a tool to manage booking of scare positions and provide information on alternate positions.

Speurders follows implementation of Enterprise to manage display advertising at De Telegraaf and at SP!TS, the largest free newspaper in The Netherlands. SP!TS is published by Basis Media, a part of Telegraaf Media Group.

The cross-media Atex solution, which replaces a system developed by De Telegraaf, includes Enterprise version 1.7 XML ad order entry, ROP, and classified advertising, customer relationship management and Integrated accounts receivables software.
