By: E&P Staff Paul O'Donnell has been promoted to business editor of The Plain Dealer in Cleveland. He previously served as deputy metro editor.
O'Donnell has been with the Plain Dealer since 1990. Before that, he worked for seven years at The News-Herald in Willoughby, Ohio, where he was executive editor.
He succeeds Debbie Van Tassel, who has been appointed assistant managing editor/administration. Van Tassel has been business editor since 1999.
