Colorado Springs 'Gazette' Names Director/Interactive Content

By: E&P Staff Carmen Boles has been named director of interactive content and audience development for The Gazette in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Boles, who most recently served as online news editor, will directing the content for the Gazette's interactive niche sites, including the newly redesigned ColoradoSprings.com.

?Continued development of our interactive publishing activities is one of the highest priorities at the Gazette,? Steve Pope, the Gazette?s president and publisher, said in a statement. ?Our Web sites currently receive more traffic than all of the other locally published sites combined. Carmen's skills will help us expand that lead as we enter the new decade.?
